Smartie Pants

I was asked to make Joelle’s 3rd grade class some testing treats.  Our state testing for 3rd grade begins next week.  I just finished up, so I wanted to share with you!  Please know that this was NOT my original idea.  These are ALL over Pinterest.  The best original source that I could find was Inspire Me ASAP.  You can see hers HERE!

There are a couple of ways that you can print and prep these.  You can just print out the jeans page and tape a piece of candy to the top like shown above.

You can also print out this half sheet and tape the candy to the top!

Because it seems like I ALWAYS take the hard route… it wasn’t until I had made 22 that I realized there was an easier way, ha…I printed the jeans on blue paper, cut slits, inserted the candy, and then stapled to the top of the testing strategies.

No matter which way you assemble, your students are sure to love!  You could also send this to a parent volunteer and ask them to create motivational goodies for your class 🙂  You can grab the Smartie Pants pages that I made HERE!  Happy ALMOST Friday, friends!

  1. Super cute! Thanks for sharing! I don’t think the kids can have it out during the test though since it has ‘testing tips’ on it.
