Happy August! I know many of you will be heading back to the classroom soon (or maybe you already have!). A few years ago I created a Welcome Back Banner for our school (you can see the original post HERE). We hung it at the entrance of the school to welcome students into the building for Meet the Teacher and the first day of school. It remains one of the favorite things that I’ve made for a school. It just made the entrance so cheerful!

I printed the letters on black and white paper and then glued them onto large construction paper. Well, I wanted to share this banner with you, but I also wanted to make it a little easier for you to create. All you will need to do is print onto colorful paper and clip to a string/yarn.
Before I share the banner with you, I want to tell you about the big Teachers Pay Teachers Back to School SALE! You can save up to 25% on teaching resources for the school year by using the code BTS19.
This is a great time to grab all of the teaching materials, lessons, and activities for the school year. Okay, now for your freebie!
If you aren’t on my email list, subscribe below to grab your Welcome Back Banner FREEBIE! Once you subscribe, check your email (make sure it isn’t in SPAM), and click “Confirm Subscription” The document will download immediately after! If you are using a school email address, it may not work. Many districts block emails such as these! Use a personal email address, and you should be good to go!

Love everything you do.
Thank you for making learning fun again! My kids love Rooted in Reading
