Using PicMonkey to Edit Pictures

Happy weekend, friends!  I wanted to share a little tip that I actually learned from my two sweet friends Deedee and Deanna last year in Vegas.  For several years I used Picasa to edit pictures for my blog, but there were a few features that it lacks (or maybe I just don’t know how to use!!) like adding an overlay to cover student names or pictures, adding in a watermark easily, etc.  So, I decided to give PicMonkey a shot, and I have used it ever since!  I don’t get fancy with my picture-taking skills, but I do like my pictures to have a similar feel throughout all of my posts.
Here’s a little video tutorial to show you how I use PicMonkey to edit pictures for my blog posts.  If you aren’t a blogger it’s still a great and FREE photo editing website that you may want to use!
I sure hope you found that useful!  Have a restful weekend!

  1. I was so excited to watch your tutorial! I gave it a try and uploaded my first pic on my blog. I am new to all of this but loving it. I definitely gave you a shout out on my page. I didn't know how to put up your button, but I would have. =-)

  2. Ironically, I just blogged on this topic earlier in the week. I LOVE Picmonkey, and I think I use half of what is available. Your video explains well. Several friends struggled with sizing photos for our collaborative blog which is what prompted me to write about it. It is well worth the money for the premium features for sure!
