Rabbit Books and Activities

Easter is quickly approaching, so I wanted to HOP in and drop some fun rabbit themed classroom activities for you! The best part… I’ve got FREE activities you can add to your Teacher Easter Basket of goodies. Let’s get straight to it…

Rabbit Directed Drawing

First up, let’s draw some bunnies! Last year my kiddos shared a directed drawing video for How to Draw a Rabbit. They will walk your students through each step. That’s right! Just press play and let Joelle and Israel be the teachers for a few minutes. Or if you prefer just the drawing steps, we’ve got that for you too! Put the directed drawing/writing into an art or creative writing station, and you are good to go!

Rabbit Word Problems

Next, we’ve got some fun Rabbit Word Problems for you. Your students will solve six word problems. As they are solving word problems correctly they are collecting the pieces of their bunny craft. When they have successfully completed their word problem mission they are able to create their rabbits. You can read all about that HERE. I also described in that blog post how I used it for a 5th grader and a 1st grader at the same time!

Rabbit Book Activities

    1. Hi there! I am not sure, you may want to search around on sites like Thriftbooks, Amazon, Scholastic, etc.

  1. Hi, Amy!

A friend of mine used a rabbit drawing/measurement activity from your blog back in 2016. She only had a photo of the finished product, but I was wondering if you still had a template and set of directions available?

Thank you so much, and Happy Easter!
    Best,
    Ellen
