Father’s Day Crafts for Kids
I don’t know about you, but my dad and husband are the most challenging people to shop for. It feels like they’ve already got every.single.thing that they need! Thankfully, a sentimental gift from kiddos is more precious than anything else.
Students can create a #1 Dad Award to give to their fathers, grandpas, uncles, etc. on Father’s Day. This simple project is sure to bring smiles!
To create, students take two paper “ribbons” and write about why the honoree is special and why they love them so much. The ribbons are attached to the paper button and voila! Don’t tell your students, but these make for great writing practice too.
Father’s Day Directed Drawing
Getting creative with gift-giving is always a treat. A unique way to celebrate Father’s Day with your students is to guide your class in a directed drawing of their dad.
Students can follow along with easy-to-follow instructions as they create a personalized drawing. What a precious keepsake for dads!
Father’s Day Questionnaire Booklet
We all love seeing how students respond to questionnaires about their parents. Their answers can be quite comical! Have students create a booklet for their dads to express their love and gratitude.
Inside the booklet, students can complete several questionnaires like All About Dad, 3 Things I Love About Dad, This or That Dad edition, etc. Double up and pair the booklet with the directed drawing mentioned above. These Father’s Day booklets are sure to warm the hearts of those special men in your students’ lives!
