Description
In need of a new way to improve reading comprehension in your classroom? These weeklong winter reading activities center around winter animal research for Penguins! You’ll get a week’s worth of lesson plans to take the burden of planning for comprehension, vocabulary, and student-led research off of your plate.
The following books are used for these read-aloud lessons and follow-up activities (These should be purchased separately):

There is one week of lesson plans and activities included in this unit:

- Research: Students will study and learn about penguins (with the website, book, and video links, graphic organizers, and KWL activity), distinguish true from false statements, and collect all of their research on a penguin-shaped booklet
