To celebrate the week before Mother’s Day, I wanted to share a sweet picture book with you. This was one of the books that I bought for my kiddos after they came home from the Congo. A Mother for Choco is a story about a little bird who is looking for his mother. It is a heartwarming story about how families come in many shapes and sizes!
You can share the read aloud with your students with this link: bit.ly/ALreadsChoco
You can find the book on Amazon HERE
I have also created a digital activity to go along with the story. Students use adjectives to describe Choco and Mrs. Bear. After that, they choose someone special in their lives to describe. I created these activities for use in Seesaw and Google Slides.
In this document you will find links to upload this to Google Classroom and/or Seesaw! I hope that is helpful for you!
