Description
These 2nd grade August read alouds come with four weeks of back to school lessons and activities.
Rooted in Reading for 2nd grade gives you everything you need to build a love of reading in your classroom. Each week centers on a read aloud. You read the book throughout the week and model how to think deeply, ask questions, and monitor comprehension, while students work through activities made for 2nd grade. All lessons and activities are aligned with the Common Core Standards and TEKS, and you can use the unit as your full curriculum or pick and choose what fits your students.
