There’s just something about starting with an empty board and watching it come to life 💚

I prepped all the pieces and sent them with @oh.my.lemons to her school so she could decorate her bulletin board for March. I love knowing those little affirmations are now hanging in her hallway for kids to see every day.

Literally me anytime someone asks me for a book recommendation. I cannot commit to just one, so I overcommit 🤣🤣 Can you relate? PS: this is why I'm always sharing book recs on my blog & Facebook!! I just love them all 💕

I don’t know if I’ve ever shared my very first substitute teaching assignment.

It was in the fall, and while I knew it would be different from having my own classroom… I was not fully prepared for what that day had in store.

I’ll spare you the details, but let’s just say it was a full-blown dumpster fire.

Like… hot mess energy from the moment the bell rang.

Thankfully, I didn’t quit after day one because there have been so many great experiences since then (and yes, a few other character-building days along the way).
