Valentine’s Day Time Activity
Now that it’s February, it’s time to roll out all the hearts, chocolate, and Valentine’s Day activities. With that in mind, I have a fun and FREE math activity that you can use during the month of February. The best part? This can be used in the classroom or through virtual learning.
Telling Time to the Five Minutes
For this activity, students look at the time on the digital clock. Their goal is to help cupid find the right clock to cover with a heart. So, students will choose which heart has the correct analog clock that matches the time shown. Students drag the heart to cover the correct clock.
It’s super simple and a great way to practice the skill of telling time to the five minutes!
If you don’t use devices in your classroom, no worries! Project this in front of your class and go through them together during whole group time.
Cover the Correct Clock
Want to know exactly what it looks like? Here’s a little peek at how students will complete this telling time activity. Oh, and you will get it in the following versions: Power Point, Seesaw, and Google Slides
