I don’t know about you, but my dad and husband are the most challenging people to shop for. It feels like they’ve already got every.single.thing that they need! Thankfully, a sentimental gift from kiddos is more precious than anything else.

Students can create a #1 Dad Award to give to their fathers, grandpas, uncles, etc. on Father’s Day. This simple project is sure to bring smiles!

To create, students take two paper “ribbons” and write about why the honoree is special and why they love them so much. The ribbons are attached to the paper button and voila! Don’t tell your students, but these make for great writing practice too.
