End of the Year Student Gifts

Do you give your students gifts at the end of the year? I’ve done so many things over the years, but reusable water bottles are probably my most reoccurring gift idea. This year I put end of the year gifts together for Joelle’s 4th grade class. Her teacher gave me a couple of ideas and I got to work!

Dollar Tree always has the most affordable gift ideas for teachers. There were so many water bottles to choose from. Some of the other options that I saw came in a three pack which would make it even more affordable!

Here are all of the supplies that I used to make the student gifts. I’ll put the links below.

MATERIALS FOR STUDENT GIFT

Dollar Tree Water Bottles: You can find these online or in store. Plus, there are several other options. Click HERE for the ones I bought.

Pack of 50 crazy straws from Amazon: These come in so many fun colors and designs! Click HERE for the straws. You could even save half for next year.

Hawaiian Punch Singles to Go: You can find these at the grocery store or even at Dollar Tree if you are there picking up water bottles. Click HERE to find some on Amazon

Twine or Ribbon: Use what you have on hand or click HERE for twine on Amazon.

Duck Tape Packing Tape: This is my all-time favorite packing tape. Click HERE to find it on Amazon. It is SOOOO much better than the Scotch brand. I’ve used it for years to hang up student work on the walls. It withstands humidity so much better than the others.

I used tape to secure the straws and drink mix to the water bottle before tying the ribbon. I also used it to attach the tag.

You may also want some gift tags! Click HERE to download those for free.

Here’s how I attached the tags. I put a roll of packing tape on the tag. Then I just sat the water bottle on top. It attached perfectly!

Now the gifts are all ready to go! I hope you enjoyed this quick idea. It cost under $40 to make 24 student gifts… not too shabby!

  1. Love your ideas! I am moving to a new position next year of Resource Teacher and wondered if I would be able to still do beg and end of year gifts for my students. This will work perfectly!
