Election season is upon us! Today I want to share my favorite election picture books with you.

An Election Snack
Another fun activity to do during election season is make an election snack. We mixed Honeycomb Cereal, Puppy Chow, Marshmallows, Pretzels, and Red/Blue M&Ms. Really anything with a little touch of Red, White, and Blue will work!
Future Voter Activity
If you are looking for an election activity that goes along with one of the read alouds above, here is what we did with Grace for President. Students retold a summary of the story on the Future Voter Badge. Each paper ribbon holds a piece of the summary. So, there are strips for: SOMEBODY, WANTED, BUT, SO, THEN.
I hope you have fun celebrating Election Week in your classroom!
