I'm still reeling over the GYTO conference! Gettin I'm still reeling over the GYTO conference! Getting to see teachers using pieces we've created for The Library in person reminded me how much good stuff is packed in there — so I'm sharing some current favorites with you today.

Want your table teams to actually work together? T Want your table teams to actually work together? This is the system that did it. I saw it in classrooms this year and put a little spin on it: Remove the Shoes 👟

Table teams earn a shoe for working together, cleaning up quickly, staying on task, or making positive choices — and once they hit their goal, they get to kick their shoes off for the rest of the day (kids think this is the BEST reward ever).

What stood out to me most was watching students encourage each other along the way. Nobody wants to be the reason their table doesn't earn a shoe, so kids start reminding each other, helping each other, and celebrating as a team.

Comment WOW and I'll send you the link to this + 2 other classroom management systems that actually work all year long! ✨
Months of dreaming, planning, creating, texting id Months of dreaming, planning, creating, texting ideas back and forth, changing our minds, tweaking every little detail… and this week we finally got to step inside the vision. 🥹✨

Seeing this classroom come to life at Get Your Teach On was truly a dream come true.

But what you see here is so much more than decor. It’s the result of an incredible team of creative people who poured their hearts into every poster, label, organizational tool, display, and tiny detail. We could never have brought this vision to life alone, and we are beyond grateful for every person who helped make this classroom a reality. 💕

Our hope was simple: create a space where teachers feel inspired, organized, and excited to welcome their students.

Comment GYTOCLASS and we’ll send everything your way!
