I’m popping in with another Power Point trick! I’m not going to type out a lot… I’ll just let the video do the talking 🙂
Once again, I’m no professional vlogger, but hopefully you’ll find it at least a little helpful 🙂
{In order to type in the top row of the table you MUST select the table and change the font color to black. Otherwise it will keep a white colored font on the top row.}
On Periscope I did some shout-outs to a few clipart artists, so I wanted to link to those here:

Oh I love this! I just can't believe I haven't thought to use a table before. Thanks for sharing!
Thank you for taking the time to add your videos to your blog. My phone is not smart enough for Periscope!
I thank my lucky stars I found your blog! I had no idea how to turn a page vertical and have been cocking my head to one side everytime I create anything! My neck and I thank you for that tip and your easy-to-follow tutorials! I too own a Mac and have a PC at school. Looking forward to more from the BEST blog out there!!!
I started using PowerPoint last year after buying most if your products. Now that I'm making some of my own, these videos really help. Thanks for doing these. I still recommend your products to my teacher friends.
Thank you for posting this as I have wondered how to make a recording sheet with tables for awhile now. I do have one question about making recording sheets. When I am making my games in portrait and need my recording sheet in landscape is there a way to make it all in one powerpoint file. I can't figure out how to do this.
Amy, I am working on this and for some reason, when I merge cells on top row, it wont input letters for NAME. What step am I missing? Thanks,Julie
Thank you so much for the tutorial. I happened to be working on a Power Point project, so I was thrilled to see your tutorial. I already tried out some of the new things I learned. Thanks!
Thank you so much for this. I have really enjoyed all of your tutorials. You have shown some really great tips and time savers. I appreciate all of this!!!

Thank you so much for sharing! Typically, I have used Word to make documents for the classroom, but now I may have to explore PowerPoint a bit more! This was very helpful! Thanks again 🙂
This is genius. I use tables, but I was always adding separate text boxes for name, title, and directions. Thanks for showing me how to simplify it and SAVE TIME! 🙂 You're the best!!!!
