Activity 3: Read “The Best Thanksgiving Ever” by Teddy Slater and Ethan Long- students make turkey out of a paper bag and take comprehension test

Activity 4: Read “The Littlest Pilgrim” by Brandi Dougherty, make Somebody Wanted But So foldable, compare yourself to Mini Venn Diagram, and take comprehension test

Activity 5: Read “The Night Before Thanksgiving” by Natasha Wing, make mashed potato bowl craftivity with Top 3 list, take comprehension test

Activity 6: Read, “The Thanksgiving Surprise” by Peggy Archer, sequence events from story, take comprehension test

Activity 7: Extra Activities- For Thanksgiving I will eat… and a Main Idea/Detail Graphic Organizer that can be used in response to any book

Activity 8: Turkey Day ABC Order- students put 18 words in ABC Order

Activity 9: Describe Me!- Students describe 4 pictures using adjectives

Activity 10: Gobble up Words!- Making words using the letters from “Thanksgiving”

Activity 11: Be Thankful for Nouns!- sort common and proper nouns

Activity 12: Has or Have?- students decide if sentences need the word has or have
