Christmas Graphing Activity

Happy December!!!! Oh wait, it’s still November for another week, BUT December is right around the corner, and I want to help you get prepared for the holiday season! Let’s first get started with a FREE math activity for you.

Deck the Halls is a graphing activity where students spin to add ornaments to their Christmas tree. After they have decked the halls, they will complete a bar graph and analyze the data.

You can use transparent chips as the ornaments or simply have the students color the ornaments as they spin. So, if they spin red they draw a red ornament.

It is a fun way to incorporate graphing with the holiday season! OH, and I included versions for 3, 4, or 5 categories so that it could be used with many grade levels!
